Job description

We’re looking for a software engineer who enjoys building beautiful user experiences while contributing across the full application stack. You’ll work alongside a senior engineering team responsible for the core platform and focus on delivering high-quality features that make an immediate impact for our customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Build new features for our web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Develop responsive, intuitive, and polished user interfaces.
  • Consume and integrate REST APIs developed by our backend engineering team.
  • Implement new workflows, dashboards, forms, and reporting screens.
  • Fix bugs and improve usability based on customer feedback.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute production-ready code.
  • Deploy changes through our Azure-based CI/CD pipeline.
  • Collaborate daily with product, design, and offshore engineering teams.
  • Estimate work, update Jira tickets, and participate in Agile ceremonies.
  • Help improve application performance, accessibility, and maintainability.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience working on production SaaS applications.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Front-End Development

Strong experience with:

  • JavaScript (ES6+)
  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • Responsive Web Design
  • React (preferred)
  • Material UI or similar component libraries
  • REST API integration
  • JSON
  • Modern UI component development

Backend Understanding

Working knowledge of:

  • Node.js
  • Express.js
  • REST APIs
  • Authentication using JWT
  • Basic debugging of backend services

(You will not be responsible for designing backend architecture, but should be comfortable reading and contributing to backend code.)

Database

Working knowledge of:

  • PostgreSQL
  • Basic SQL
  • Reading database schemas
  • Writing simple queries for troubleshooting

(No database administration or architecture experience required.)

Azure

Familiarity with:

  • Azure App Services
  • Azure Storage
  • Application configuration
  • Azure Portal
  • Application deployments

(Deep Azure architecture experience is not required.)

DevOps

Experience with:

  • Git
  • GitHub
  • Pull Requests
  • Branching
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Basic deployment troubleshooting

Agile

Experience using:

  • Jira
  • Scrum
  • Sprint planning
  • Daily standups
  • Story estimation

Communication

Must possess:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong written communication
  • Ability to work closely with offshore engineering teams
  • Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills

  • UX/UI design experience, You’re a developer who enjoys building polished software that users love. You’re comfortable working with senior engineers on architecture while independently owning the user experience and delivering features that move the product forward.
