Job description

Senior Software Engineer (AI) - Remote (UK)

A fast-growing AI Series A startup building autonomous software agents that automate complex operational workflows for enterprise customers are looking for a product-focused software engineer to join their team.

What Will I Be Doing?

Bringing new AI-powered products from concept to market.
Re-architecting and scaling existing tools and services into robust, production-grade platforms.
Bridging Product, Machine Learning, and Platform Engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Building and maintaining scalable microservices and distributed systems.
Driving technical decisions and helping shape the future of the platform.
Contributing hands-on throughout the software development lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong commercial experience with Python development.
Experience launching and scaling products in production environments.
Expertise in modern AI and agentic development practices.
Strong experience with containerised applications and Kubernetes.
Hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges.
Startup experience, AWS knowledge, or exposure to MLOps/Platform Engineering is a bonus.
