Job description

develop state-of-the-art embedded software solutions on Linux-based platforms for sophisticated control systems
design, plan and implement embedded solutions, including device drivers, communication interfaces, advanced control algorithms and state machines
apply modern architectural principles to improve testability, maintainability and overall software quality
collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and act as a key interface between software and hardware development
collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and act as a key interface between software and hardware development
support the introduction of new technologies throughout the entire development lifecycle, from concept and development to commercial release

Requirements

hold a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field
have gained hands-on experience in embedded software development and combine strong analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset
have experience working with Linux real-time operating systems, ideally including driver development and fieldbus protocols
are proficient in C/C++ (C++17 or higher), Python, and model-based development methods and tools such as Enterprise Architect or HCL RTist
bring knowledge of software testing, ideally including test automation and agile development methodologies
are confident communicating in English, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage
