Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Automated Test Engineer to support the Sponsor’s classification tools program. This is a fully funded, immediate-need position. You’ll join an established team developing and maintaining classification tools across Microsoft desktop, web, and legacy Lotus Notes environments, and you’ll own the automated testing mission - designing test scripts, building testing programs, and ensuring software compatibility across the portfolio., Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright Develop testing programs addressing database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error/bug retests, and usability Conduct software compatibility tests across programs, hardware, and operating systems Support testing across a diverse classification tools portfolio spanning Microsoft desktop and web applications (C, C++, Visual Basic, .NET), Java/Python web services, JavaScript services, and Lotus Notes applications Integrate quickly with the existing development team and contribute to the full testing lifecycle Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify, document, and retest defects through resolution

Requirements

Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph Demonstrated experience designing and developing automated test scripts - this position is not suitable for someone new to testing Demonstrated experience with Selenium Demonstrated experience with Playwright Experience developing testing programs covering regression, negative testing, error/bug retests, usability, and database impact testing Experience conducting software compatibility testing across programs, hardware, and operating systems Ability to onboard rapidly and integrate with an established team

Preferred Qualifications Scripting or development experience in one or more of: Java, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, Visual Basic, .NET Familiarity with Lotus Notes environments Experience supporting Intelligence Community clients Familiarity with classification management and marking tools Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
