Job description

This position offers you the opportunity to join a fast growing technology organization that is redefining productivity paradigms in the software engineering industry. At Parser, we’re searching for an Engineering Lead who is highly motivated, collaborative, and excited to be part of our Fintech Engineering team. As an Engineering Lead, you’ll work on impactful projects using cutting-edge technologies. Collaborating with talented engineers across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, you’ll design and build solutions critical to Parser’s mission. What You’ll Do: Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code in Java, Kotlin, TypeScript or other modern stacks. Develop new features and maintain current production deployments Build across the full stack - frontend web applications, backend services, APIs, and data flows. Work in a cross-functional Agile team, participating in all development phases from planning to production. Provide technical mentorship, conduct code reviews, and engage in architectural discussions. Continuously improve systems for scalability, performance, and resilience. Collaborate with stakeholders to shape product direction and make architecture decisions. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers Propose, prioritize and manage backlog tasks for future sprints Oversee the development, testing, and implementation of software projects Ensure the quality, efficiency and scalability of the codebase Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and processes Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep systems modern and efficient What you’ll bring to us: Strong programming skills in modern languages (Java, Kotlin, etc.) Experience with frontend frameworks like React JS is desirable Understanding of backend technologies and RESTful APIs

Requirements

Experience with test automation, including designing and maintaining automated test suites (unit, integration, end-to-end), using modern frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium) Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS is preferred) Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, system design) Passion for building clean, maintainable code and modern software development practices (CI/CD, TDD, DevOps) Strong communication and collaboration skills A drive to learn and improve, both yourself and the systems you build
