Job description

Working as part of a collaborative development team, you will:

  • Develop and maintain commercial mobile applications using .NET MAUI and Xamarin.
  • Investigate and resolve issues across both mobile and backend codebases.
  • Design, develop and enhance new functionality.
  • Build high-quality, maintainable and scalable code.
  • Optimise application performance and improve existing components.
  • Work closely with fellow developers to deliver projects within agreed timescales.
  • Contribute ideas and technical improvements across the development lifecycle.
  • Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practice.

Requirements

This is a hands-on senior development role, ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, improving application performance and working across both mobile and backend technologies., * 6+ years’ commercial C#/.NET development.

  • Recent commercial experience building applications with .NET MAUI and/or Xamarin Forms.
  • Strong knowledge of the MVVM design pattern.
  • Commercial experience with XAML.
  • Experience developing custom controls and UI components.
  • Experience using custom renderers and/or handlers.
  • Experience integrating or binding third-party native SDKs into Xamarin or .NET MAUI applications.
  • Excellent debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team.

Desirable

  • Native iOS development experience.
  • Native Android development experience.
  • ASP.NET Core or other .NET web technologies.
