Job description

Inn-Flow is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality software through an automation-first testing approach. As a key member of our technology team, you will work side-by-side with our engineers-including the Senior Full Stack Software Engineer role-building a modern testing framework that ensures speed, reliability, and confidence in every release.

This role is not just about finding bugs-it’s about preventing them. You will design and implement automated test suites, champion QA best practices, and help shape an AI-forward quality engineering strategy that leverages tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman, and AI-assisted testing platforms.

What you’ll do

  • Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers to define acceptance criteria, edge cases, and test strategies early in the development cycle.
  • Leverage AI-driven QA tools to enhance test coverage, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort.
  • Implement continuous testing practices within CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable deployments.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and advocate for a quality-first culture across the engineering team.
  • Track, analyze, and report on quality metrics to improve release confidence and team accountability.
  • Proactively identify potential risks in architecture and workflows, contributing to system reliability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead QA/automation role.
  • Proven expertise with test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted QA tools and willingness to innovate with emerging AI technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience testing .NET APIs and React-based applications.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server and database testing.
  • Background in testing SaaS applications with multi-tenant architectures.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (Azure preferred).
  • Performance/load testing experience (e.g., JMeter, k6).
