Job description

Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including algorithm development and large data set manipulation.
Test software components, resolve software problem reports, and apply software development methodologies.
Provide input to system design, perform requirements analysis, lead multiple software development teams, and ensure quality control of developed software., * Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems, including processing-intensive analytics and novel algorithm development.
Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements, documenting results and resolving problem reports.
Utilize appropriate software development and design methodologies.
Provide specific input to system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and COTS/GOTS integration.
Perform requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
Recommend new technologies and processes for complex software projects.
Serve as the technical lead for multiple software development teams.
Select software development processes in coordination with the customer and system engineering.
Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software.
Delegate programming and testing responsibilities to teams and monitor their performance.

Requirements

Degree: Technical bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience (4 additional years of SWE experience).
Years of experience: 20+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
Total Compensation: $325k+ yearly
Clearance: TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
