The Team Lead will provide direction, training, and support to employees while also assisting with hands-on returns processing and warehouse responsibilities when needed. The ideal candidate is a confident leader who can hold team members accountable, resolve problems, manage multiple priorities, and ensure daily departmental goals are consistently met.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, feedback, and additional training when needed
  • Train new and existing employees on returns procedures, inventory systems, refund processes, and company standards
  • Review completed work to ensure returns, refunds, and inventory adjustments are processed accurately
  • Inspect returned packages and determine the condition and resale eligibility of returned items
  • Ensure customer refunds are issued accurately and within the required timeframe
  • Oversee the repackaging of returned products for resale according to company standards
  • Research and identify parts using the company’s inventory management system
  • Address employee questions and resolve issues involving products, refunds, inventory, or workflow
  • Monitor daily production goals and report performance, concerns, or recurring issues to management
  • Maintain an organized, efficient, and safe work area
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve return-related or inventory-related concerns
  • Assist with picking parts, packing boxes, stocking inventory, and other warehouse duties as needed
  • Operate a forklift when necessary; training will be provided if needed
  • Identify opportunities to improve departmental procedures, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Enforce company policies and escalate performance or conduct concerns to management when appropriate

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and team-management skills
  • Ability to direct, motivate, train, and hold employees accountable
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to delegate tasks and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong critical-thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate expectations clearly and professionally
  • Comfortable addressing employee performance and workflow concerns
  • Ability to work independently while taking responsibility for the performance of the entire department
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to changing procedures and business needs
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment, * At least 1 year of previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience is required
  • Previous experience in returns processing, warehouse operations, inventory management, or a related position is preferred
  • Basic computer skills are required
