Job description

  • Promoting and enabling a smart factory according to company vision and strategies
  • Developing software for plant level digital platforms and industrial equipment digitalization system.
  • Support smart factory architecture and digital simulation/testing environment
  • Work with functional team to develop and maintain software for production equipment and industrial automation systems
  • Develop and optimize software to support MES / shopfloor digital systems, data acquisition and machine connectivity as well as dashboard design
  • Develop machine control logic, device drivers, and communication interfaces to realize shopfloor digitalization
  • Ensure real-time performance and reliability in manufacturing environments via data capture and system integration across different data sources
  • Keep learning new technologies to iterate and optimize the existing digital applications, ensure software performance stability and scalability as well as knowledge sharing within team and others
  • Support to analyze production issues and implement root cause fixes
  • Provide and environment conductive to empowerment and implementation of standards necessary to ensure TISAX//ISO14001/OHSAS18001 certification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering / computer engineering / Automation / Mechatronics.
  • 3-8+ years’ experience in software systems development
  • Strong programming skills with C++ and C# (mandatory), SQL query, .net, HTML/XML, Python or VB&Java scripting (preferred)
  • Experience in manufacturing MES / shopfloor digital solutions
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA, etc.), SCADA and API, Data acquisition and IoT integration related
  • Troubleshooting and project management abilities.
  • Fluent English in both oral and written
  • Data analysis and visualization skills, power query, pivot and BI are recommended.
  • Knowledge of TS16949/ ISO14000/OHSAS18001 procedures a plus
