Design Engineer

You’ll use 3D CAD software to create detailed models and production drawings while working closely with production, sales and customers to deliver high quality engineering solutions., * Design and develop new products, as well as improve existing product ranges.

• Produce 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings and customer dimension drawings.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product data.
• Organise prototype manufacture and carry out testing to ensure designs meet functional requirements.
• Produce technical documentation, loading information and product data.
• Design bespoke customer solutions and provide technical support.
• Plan and manage engineering projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and product quality..

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred).
• Experience creating engineering drawings and Bills of Materials.
