Job description

We are hiring a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer to support the design, maintenance, expansion, and operational reliability of mission-critical data center facilities. This role focuses on the physical infrastructure of the data center-including power, cooling, capacity planning, resiliency, and facility engineering projects-rather than the IT servers, storage, or applications running inside the environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in colocation, enterprise, or hyperscale data center environments and a strong understanding of critical electrical and mechanical systems, infrastructure redundancy, commissioning activities, and operational risk management. You will partner with engineering, construction, facilities, utilities, and technology teams to deliver reliable and scalable data center infrastructure solutions. Top Three skills: o Critical Data Center Infrastructure Engineering (UPS, generators, switchgear, power distribution, cooling/mechanical systems) o Capacity Planning & Resiliency Analysis (power, space, cooling, redundancy, failover, availability planning) o Data Center Projects & Operations (construction, upgrades, commissioning, root cause analysis, DCIM/monitoring)

Requirements

o 5+ years of experience in Data Center / Critical Facilities / Mission Critical Infrastructure Engineering o Hands-on knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems supporting data centers o Experience with capacity management, infrastructure upgrades, commissioning, and operational reliability o Ability to work across construction, facilities, utilities, and technology teams in a large enterprise environment o Strong analytical and communication skills with a practical, operations-focused engineering mindset, o Background in engineering or a technical discipline related to data center critical infrastructure.
