Senior Backend Developer - Java

Our client is a well-established, technology-driven company that develops digital products used by millions of customers in the banking and insurance industry.

• Design, develop, maintain, and operate backend services.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs for enterprise clients.
• Improve system scalability, stability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Mobile, AI, and Engineering teams.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy.
• Automate development, testing, and deployment processes using CI/CD practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems.
• Perform code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Support technical planning, estimation, and solution design.

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and the JVM ecosystem.
• Experience building REST APIs and distributed microservice architectures.
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Good understanding of application security, OAuth2, and Spring Security.
• Experience with Cassandra, Elasticsearch, or messaging technologies (e.g., AMQP) is a plus.
• Strong focus on clean code, maintainability, and reliability.
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English.
