Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Solutions Architect / Transition Lead to drive the design, development, and implementation of complex IT solutions within our enterprise environment. In this pivotal role, you will lead cross-functional teams through transition projects, ensuring seamless migration to cloud architectures and modern system designs. Your expertise will help shape our technology landscape by aligning solution architecture with business goals, fostering innovation, and maintaining robust security standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence large-scale digital transformations and deliver impactful solutions that enhance operational efficiency and scalability., * Lead the end-to-end design of scalable, secure, and efficient enterprise solutions utilizing service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Develop comprehensive solution architectures that incorporate best practices in system design patterns, enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF, and information security standards.
- Oversee the migration of legacy systems to cloud infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption through meticulous planning and execution of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze existing IT infrastructure, and translate business needs into technical solutions using tools such as RESTful APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps pipelines for CI/CD.
- Provide technical leadership during project phases including application development, system integration, deployment, and ongoing maintenance across diverse environments like Windows, Linux, and containerized platforms.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL practices for service management while managing project scope, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Maintain thorough documentation of architecture designs, transition plans, security protocols, and system configurations to support ongoing operations and audits., Leads onboarding, implementation, integration, and transition-to-operations activities during contract startup., * Develop implementation plans.
- Coordinate NMS deployment and integration.
- Create SOPs and operational runbooks.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems integration?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Proven experience in solution architecture within enterprise IT environments with a strong understanding of system architecture principles and design patterns.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud architecture including AWS, Azure, or similar platforms; experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning and management is essential.
- Solid background in software development using languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, .NET or PL/SQL; familiarity with RESTful API development is required.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes; familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
- Strong analysis skills combined with expertise in enterprise software systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle Database Management Systems (DBMS), Microsoft SQL Server; experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Familiarity with IT frameworks such as TOGAF and ITIL; understanding of information security standards to safeguard enterprise data.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex transition projects using Agile methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; advanced certifications in cloud architecture (AWS Certified Solutions Architect), TOGAF certification or equivalent are preferred.
