Technical Support & Production Specialist

Based at our headquarters in Overland Park, this hybrid position splits your time between technical support and hands-on production work. On the support side, you’ll be the first person our clients reach out to when they need help with their systems. On the production side, you’ll get your hands dirty building computers and cameras, prepping and configuring hardware, and making sure it all gets safely shipped to customers.

What You’ll Do

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable technical support to our clients by phone and email, troubleshooting issues and making sure their systems stay up and running.
• Monitor and maintain a network of video cameras, weather monitoring systems, and on-air servers across multiple locations.
• Diagnose technical problems, work with clients and teammates to find fast fixes, and keep everyone updated along the way.
• Build, configure, and test computers and camera systems in our production area.
• Prepare hardware for shipment, including packing and shipping to clients.
• Document your work in our case tracking system, keeping detailed records from start to finish.

• An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
• Curious and a quick study with new technology.
• Comfortable with computer hardware and Windows (Linux experience is a plus).
• Able to break down technical issues in a way that makes sense to both clients and coworkers.
• Detail-oriented, resourceful, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
• Positive, proactive, and ready to help wherever you’re needed.
