Job description

Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant IT policies to provide technically accurate solutions to users.
Perform hardware procurement and asset management.
Troubleshoot and support LAN, WAN, Wireless networks, and on-site servers via tickets, alerts, and change management processes.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Manage ticket queues to ensure timely resolution of requests.
Handle requests and technical project work through to completion.
Assist with triaging and escalating system or network outages to minimize downtime.
Provide on-call support for Severity 1 (Sev1) and Severity 2 (Sev2) incidents.
Handle escalations from Level 1 support teams.
Follow, update, and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve team knowledge management.
Perform after-hours work for change requests as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an IT-related field, OR 1+ years of experience in IT systems or a relevant field.
1+ years of experience in a technical help-desk or desk-side support environment.
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows 10, plus familiarity with at least one of the following: Mac OS X or Linux.
1+ years of experience with networking hardware and concepts, including DNS, DHCP, OSI Model, and TCP/IP.
Proficiency in both Mandarin and English (written and reading).
