Job description

Do you want to write code that actually changes how a company governs itself across an entire region? Most entering into a professionals career spend their time updating spreadsheets or sitting in on calls they weren’t invited to. This isn’t that.

Our EMEA Entity Governance team runs an in-house developed platform (Microsoft Power Platform) that statutory directors, functional leads, compliance, and risk teams across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa rely on. It tracks entities, obligations, and regulatory exposure across dozens of jurisdictions.

We’re building the next version - and we want an engineer who wants to own a piece of that.

We are looking for a hands-on technical individual to help us document existing work flows and system design, along with automating and scaling the platform. The GRC Platform Engineer will work directly with the Program Manager, turning defined requirements into working features, keeping the platform reliable, and pushing more automation and AI into our workflows. This is a build-and-ship role with real ownership of execution and a clear path to convert into a permanent position.

Successful candidates combine solid coding fundamentals with the curiosity to learn new tools quickly, the discipline to ship reliable software, and a genuine interest in automating governance and compliance workflows at scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance the internal GRC platform (Microsoft Power Platform - Power Apps, Power Automate - and Power BI)
  • Translate defined requirements into reliable, well-tested features, owning execution end-to-end. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the platform to keep it stable and business-ready.
  • Support the integration of AI-driven automation into workflows to reduce manual effort across the many entities served by the platform.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and custom HTML/JavaScript views.
  • Run QA and testing ahead of releases to ensure quality and stability across the platform.
  • Write and maintain clear technical documentation so the platform stays robust, maintainable, and transferable.
  • Own the reliability of what you build; fix it when it breaks.

Requirements

  • Experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Solid, hands-on coding ability in JavaScript, HTML, and Python.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and/or Power BI; if not, a genuine eagerness to learn it.
  • Experience building or consuming REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM tooling and automation.
  • Familiarity with C# and Angular
