VoIP & Network Installation & Support Engineer

We are a multi award - winning business, delivering high levels of customer service & satisfaction. Due to continued growth we are looking to expand our Engineering department with an experienced Telecoms Engineer.

The role is suited to a hardworking individual who is keen to grow their experience with a well established, ambitious and expanding firm.

The successful applicant must have experience installing and repairing VoIP telephone systems / Networks & data and telephony cabling. The following attributes listed below will be preferred to become a successful applicant:

• Experience in the deployment and programming of cloud phone systems.
• Experience in the installation of CAT cabling including fault diagnostics.
• A good VoIP understanding.
• Knowledge of the installation and diagnostics of routers, Wi-Fi access points, managed switches.
• A good understanding of Networking including LAN/WAN and good knowledge of the OSI model for fault finding on customer’s local and remote networks.
• The ability to be technically adept and use great problem-solving skills, with a positive attitude to learn new skills.
• An ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail and pride in your work to complete projects to the highest of standards.
• The ability to work well on your own as well as part of a team.
• Ability to work at height when required.
• A full UK Driving Licence

The position involves installing and maintaining a variety of Hosted & Fixed telephone systems throughout the UK, there will be daily interaction with customers, so excellent communication skills and a professional approach are vital. There will also be some time in our office on the support desk. The candidate will be required to enhance our customer’s experience by always exceeding their expectations and by fulfilling our best practices.
