Junior Software Engineer / Journeyman

Squadra Technologies Services (STS) is a defense-focused software company supporting mission-critical programs for the Department of Defense. We are looking for 1-2 Junior or Journeyman Software Engineers to join our team. You’ll work on full-stack development in a fast-paced, Agile environment supporting defense software programs. This is a growth-oriented role, we’re looking for strong fundamentals and the drive to develop into a well-rounded engineer., · Develop and maintain front-end interfaces using React

· Build and consume RESTful APIs using .NET (C#) or Java Spring

· Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

· Write and maintain unit and integration tests using frameworks such as Jest, React Test Library, or Robot Framework

· Support containerized deployments using Docker/Podman and Kubernetes

Do you have experience in Version control systems?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

· 1-3 years of professional software development experience

· Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React

· Working knowledge of at least one backend language: C#, Java, or Python

· Familiarity with Git-based version control workflows

· U.S. Citizenship

· Active DoD Secret security clearance (required)

Preferred Qualifications

· Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman

· Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar)

· Familiarity with Agile/SAFe development frameworks

· Any prior defense or government contracting experience, * Do you have experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar)?

• Do you have exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman?
• Do you have working knowledge of at least one backend language: C#, Java, or Python?
• Do you have DoD experience, particularly within defense systems engineering ?
