Job description

The Salesforce Enablement Manager helps Shatterproof’s teams get the most out of Salesforce - the platform at the center of our fundraising, marketing, and program work. This role is all about people and data: making sure staff feel confident using the system, that the information inside it is accurate and trustworthy, and that reporting gives teams the insight they need to move the mission forward. Salesforce is our system of record for constituent and donor management, campaign tracking, and program and treatment center data. You’ll be the day-to-day champion for how it’s used across the organization - leading training, safeguarding data quality, and building clear, useful reports - while partnering with external technical specialists on advanced configuration and development. This is also a pivotal moment for our CRM: Shatterproof is moving from the Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) to Nonprofit Cloud. You’ll play a central role in helping staff adopt the new system and making sure our data is ready for the transition., User Enablement & Adoption

  • Champion Salesforce adoption across the organization, helping teams build the confidence and habits to get real value from the system every day.
  • Guide new users through onboarding and run ongoing enablement sessions shaped around how each team actually works.
  • Answer everyday how-to questions and resolve light usage issues - and connect deeper technical problems to the right external specialist.
  • Build and maintain self-service resources, such as quick-start guides, FAQs, and short walkthroughs, so staff can find answers on their own.
  • Spot where teams are underusing Salesforce and step in proactively to close adoption gaps.

Data Management & Quality

  • Keep Salesforce data clean and reliable through regular audits, cleanup, and duplicate management.
  • Run recurring and one-time data imports - donations, campaigns, and partner/giving data - accurately and on schedule, including time-sensitive uploads tied to fundraising campaigns.
  • Set and reinforce data standards - naming conventions, required fields, and validation practices - so information stays consistent.
  • Partner with teams to encourage consistent, accurate data entry.
  • Support data exports and basic data preparation, and document recurring processes so critical tasks aren’t dependent on any one person.

Reporting & Insights

  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards that answer real questions for teams and leadership.
  • Make reporting easy to use and accessible for non-technical staff.
  • Work with colleagues to turn reporting needs into clear, useful deliverables.
  • Prepare and structure data for external reporting and analytics tools, such as Power BI.

Request Intake & Prioritization

  • Manage how Salesforce requests come in - reviewing, organizing, and prioritizing them.
  • Partner with stakeholders to clarify what they need and agree on priorities.
  • Track requests and keep everyone informed on timelines and status.

Integrations & Connected Systems

  • Set up and maintain standard, vendor-supported integrations between Salesforce and other platforms - for example, our online donation platform.
  • Monitor integrations day to day, catching and resolving issues so data flows accurately and consistently between systems.
  • Act as the main point of contact with integration vendors, coordinating updates and changes to existing connections.
  • Support connected tools such as survey and research platforms, keeping active surveys and their data flowing.

Configuration, Automation & New Features

  • Handle everyday Salesforce configuration, such as fields, page layouts, standard automations and basic updates.
  • Lead change management for Salesforce system changes, including monitoring new releases and features, assessing organizational impact, and managing thoughtful rollouts that support user adoption.
  • Partner with our external Salesforce implementation partner on more advanced work, including:
  • Custom development, complex configuration, and complex automations
  • Custom-built integrations
  • Large-scale changes and data migrations, including the move to Nonprofit Cloud
  • Serve as the internal connection point that keeps external technical work aligned with what the organization needs.

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of experience working with Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
  • A track record of supporting end users, leading training, or driving system adoption.
  • Experience building reports and dashboards and keeping data clean and accurate.
  • Comfort running data imports and working accurately with large or sensitive data sets.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work comfortably with non-technical colleagues.
  • A detail-oriented approach with a focus on data accuracy and consistency.
  • The ability to translate business needs into practical, workable solutions in the system.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills when balancing requests from multiple teams.
  • Passion for Shatterproof’s mission and the impact technology can have on it.

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce Business Analyst certification or Salesforce Associate certification - equivalent hands-on CRM experience is also welcome.
  • Experience with external reporting tools such as Power BI, or supporting analytics across systems.
  • Experience working with integrated systems and keeping data consistent across platforms.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce automation tools, such as Flow, and with Salesforce’s seasonal releases.
  • Experience in a nonprofit environment or with nonprofit Salesforce data models, such as NPSP or Nonprofit Cloud.
