Senior QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise automation frameworks for web and API applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, API Automation, SQL, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies. This role involves building scalable automation solutions, integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software applications., Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and API applications. Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Perform API automation using REST Assured and Postman. Validate application data using SQL queries and database testing techniques. Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA. Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Prepare test plans, execution reports, quality dashboards, and automation metrics. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Continuously improve automation frameworks, test coverage, and testing processes. Troubleshoot automation failures and support release validation activities. Follow software quality assurance best practices and enterprise testing standards. Experience with AWS or Azure cloud testing. Performance testing using JMeter. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of BDD using Cucumber. Experience testing cloud-native applications. Experience with microservices testing is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
