Integrations and Applications Administrator

Primary Purpose: The Applications & Integrations Administrator is responsible for acting as the primary point of contact between the district and vendors to ensure accurate and timely integration of data for the purpose of populating instructional and administrative applications. The position is responsible for managing required data manipulation to prepare import/export files for populating applications. This position is responsible for the implementation, support, administration and integration of district digital instructional resources and enterprise applications such as Canvas, Google, Eduphoria, Apple School Manager, JAMF, Intune, etc., Prepare data with fidelity and integrity and coordinate with external vendors the upload of data files in a timely manner based on Curriculum and Instruction needs.

Day-to-day management of the district’s student and staff online systems including, but not limited to: Google, JAMF, Eduphoria, Canvas, Clever, etc.

Maintain inventory of curriculum and instruction digital systems available, usage analytics and patterns.

Help manage the protection and oversight of student and staff data privacy and security through the various online systems.

Develop plans for injecting automation into existing business processes

Develop, modify, or improve software applications to meet stakeholder needs.

Implement software testing strategies to ensure delivery of quality solutions

Write and maintain detailed systems documentation including user and technical manuals

Provide ongoing support for internally developed applications

Assist the Director of Technology Services with execution of the department goals and instructional programs Huffman ISD Applications and Integrations Administrator

Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, preferred

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledge of Web Programming Languages (PHP and JavaScript Preferred)
• Knowledge of Database design and query languages (MSSQL)
• Knowledge of shell scripting languages (PowerShell Preferred)
• Knowledge of Business Process Automation tools (Laser fiche Workflow/Forms Preferred)
• Knowledge of SCCM Experience in the device enrollment program (DEP), Volume Purchase Program (VPP), Apple School Manager (ASM) and application deployment through JAMF/Intune
• Experience with G Suite for Education, use and administration
• Advanced skills in mobile device management, specifically JAMF and/or Intune
• Experience managing online systems (e.g., Eduphoria, Canvas, Skyward, etc.)
• Understanding of data uploads processes for enterprise management systems

Experience: Minimum three years of experience in technical systems or related field, Tools/Equipment Used: Computer and peripherals; standard office equipment

Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting Motion: Frequent repetitive hand motions; frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching

Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds)

Environment: Work is performed in an office setting; may require irregular and/or prolonged hours
