Job description

The HRIS Benefits Analyst researches, analyzes, designs, and maintains systems in support of Human Resources administration that are essential to the operations of University Health. Monitors Human Resources data information needs and designs new or modifies existing systems to meet the internal and external requirements. Must be thorough and accurate in testing and implementation of database changes. Participates in Human Resources projects, events, and activities as assigned.

Duties:

Build queries in People Soft

Validate data for vendor files

Run PeopleSoft reports and SQL reports

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field is required.

A minimum of three year’s recent experience administering or providing service for insurance benefits, COBRA and associated benefits is preferred.

Thorough understanding of legislation to include ERISA, Section 125/Flexible Spending Accounts, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA is required.

PC and windows experience to include spreadsheets, database management and word processing competence is required.VLookup experience is highly preferred
