We are seeking an experienced Lead AWS Python Developer to join our engineering team in Atlanta, GA. 8+ years of professional experience in software development, with strong proficiency in Python 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC) Proven experience in a technical lead role, guiding development teams and driving architecture decisions Strong experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS) Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK) Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, etc.) Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB) Experience with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Datadog, etc.) Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, design patterns, and Agile methodologies Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Preferred Qualifications AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, Developer Associate, or DevOps Engineer) Experience with serverless architecture and event-driven design Familiarity with data engineering/ETL pipelines Experience in Agile/Scrum environments leading sprint planning and retrospectives Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments (IAM policies, encryption, compliance)
