Business Intelligence Developer

We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise reporting and data solutions. This role is responsible for building ETL processes, enhancing data marts, and delivering high-quality reports and dashboards that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate brings strong SQL expertise, a passion for data accuracy, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions., * Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to support reporting and analytics needs

• Create and enhance data marts to support evolving business metrics
• Develop and maintain reports using SSRS and dashboards in Power BI
• Write optimized stored procedures and queries using T-SQL
• Translate business requirements into technical tasks and provide effort estimates
• Perform testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and report integrity
• Analyze and optimize report and query performance
• Collaborate with software developers on system design and BI-related architecture
• Support internal and external reporting needs, including audit and compliance reporting
• Provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements to existing BI artifacts
• Contribute to Agile development processes and communicate project progress effectively
• Support team knowledge sharing and continuous process improvement

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Do you have experience in Technical solutions implementation?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * Strong proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL development

• Experience with database schema design
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS or other ETL tools
• Experience developing reports in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Working knowledge of Power BI or other dashboarding platforms
• Advanced Excel skills
• Query optimization and performance tuning experience
• Foundational knowledge of dimensional modeling and star schema design
• Ability to translate business reporting requirements into technical solutions
• Strong analytical, logical, and mathematical problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure SQL Database or Azure SQL Managed Instance
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud environments
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies, * Do you reside within a 1-2 hour driving distance of Knoxville TN?
• Are you able to pass a background and credit check?
