Job description

The Data Coordinator for Hatchery operations play a critical role. The primary responsibility will be to perform accurate and timely data entry tasks, inventory, maintaining and updating records across various systems. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in data entry software are crucial for success in this role. Data Coordinator will collaborate with Hatchery staff and external customers to ensure seamless operation and accurate data information. All Company information will be handled with complete confidentiality., * Manage all hatchery production data in the MTech system, including data entry, updates, reporting, troubleshooting, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

  • Generate and distribute accurate MTech reports to our partners and customers in a timely manner.
  • Assist with MTech setup and configuration for new processes, reports, and workflows.
  • Supervise the Egg Room Technician to ensure eggs are properly racked and the cooler is clean and maintained under appropriate environmental conditions.
  • Create bills of lading for egg deliveries.
  • Organize, scan, and electronically file production documentation.
  • Conduct weekly egg inventories by 9:00 a.m. every Monday.
  • Prepare customers’ day projections based on candling fertility results.
  • Perform monthly egg and poult audits for insurance requirements.
  • Provide support to other hatchery departments as needed.
  • Comply with all company policies regarding biosecurity, animal welfare, safety, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and within required timelines.
  • Regularly monitor and respond to company email communications, including directives and requests from HR and hatchery management.
  • Collaborate effectively with the hatchery team to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements related to hatchery operations, inventory management, and data reporting.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records to support internal audits, regulatory inspections, insurance audits, and company standards.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Hatchery Manager or as required to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Previous administrative experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma
  • Familiarity with computer software such as MS Office Suite, Enterprise Resource Planning Systems
  • Proficiency in Excel (Creating filters, taking averages, summing up a column)
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics and statistics (Percentages are critical)
  • Database entry and ability to balance numbers.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to effectively respond to questions, concerns, or needs from employees at all organizational levels.
  • Bilingual in Spanish - English preferred.
  • Motor Vehicle Register required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
