Job description
- The Programmer will be assigned job assignments to configure the STARS application.
- Responsible for analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation.
- Will code enhancements and develop required fixes to production problems using the functional and technical programming standards of the GenTax system.
- The tool set will include C#, PostgreSQL, and Visual Studio.
- Execute the required steps for implementing SQR change requests in the FAST Gentax system and tracking changes in the Fast Central Repository (FCR) following the project standards.
- Coordinate their work with other software developers.
- Participate in structured code reviews and walkthroughs.
- The execution of all their responsibilities will be with little direct supervision of a team leader. These services are essential to improve efficiency and accuracy of tax processing.
Requirements
- 5 years programming and 2-years of experience with one of the following FAST ENTERPRISES, LLC technology systems: Gentax, Fast DS-VS, Fast UI-PL, or Fast CSE. (Client is not interested in candidates that previously worked for FAST ENTERPRISES directly)
- Experience with Fast Core components
- C#, PostgreSQL, and Visual Studio, * Minimum 5 years of programming experience
- Minimum 2-years of experience with one of the following FAST ENTERPRISES, LLC technology systems: Gentax, Fast DS-VS, Fast UI-PL, or Fast CSE
