GenTax Programmer

GenTax Programmer | Location: Off-Site | Contract | Hourly Pay Range $55-$65 Join a team seeking an experienced FAST GenTax Programmer to configure and enhance the STARS application. In this role, you’ll support the full software development lifecycle-analyzing requirements, delivering system enhancements, and resolving production issues-while adhering to FAST GenTax functional and technical standards., * Configure, enhance, and support the STARS application

• Analyze requirements and translate them into system designs, technical solutions, and implementation plans
• Develop, test, and document system enhancements and production fixes using GenTax programming standards
• Implement SQR change requests within the FAST GenTax system
• Track, manage, and promote changes through the FAST Central Repository (FCR)
• Participate in structured code reviews and technical walkthroughs to ensure quality and standards alignment
• Coordinate development activities with other software developers across the SDLC
• Work independently with minimal supervision to deliver enhancements and resolve issues efficiently

• Five or more years of programming experience
• At least two years of experience with one or more FAST Enterprises technology systems, including GenTax, FAST DS-VS, FAST UI-PL, or FAST CSE
• Hands-on experience with C#, PostgreSQL, and Visual Studio
• Experience delivering application enhancements and resolving production issues
• Strong analytical, testing, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Must not have worked directly for FAST Enterprises within the past six months
