Job description

SAIC is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Test Engineer to join our team and begin an exciting and challenging career., * Serve as an active member of the software development team participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.

Develop test cases and test plans to validate system functionality.
Develop, maintain and execute automation tests.
Perform functional testing and ad-hoc testing.
Perform regression testing.
Perform 508 testing using JAWS.
Provide testing support, as needed, to development team and clients, including support of UAT.
Apply and promote good software engineering practices such as test automation, modularization, and simplification.
Collaborate with colleagues on various solutions and problems.
Use Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools to include Visual Studio, Azure DevOps and GIT.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 3 years’ software experience. Four additional years of professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust that requires ship.
Experience with MS SQL Server database and SQL
Experience in software testing, including UI and API validation, functional and regression testing, and automated testing using Selenium.
Experience with section 508, accessibility testing approaches and screen readers, such as JAWS.
Experience with Azure DevOps and pipelines; Agile development using Azure DevOps.
Excellent analytical, communication, troubleshooting and resolution skills.
Ability to work in team environments across a diverse set of projects with multiple stakeholders.
Proactive approach to problem solving and a delivery mindset.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
