Senior Flutter Developer

You’ll build native Flutter implementations for:

• Interactive maps using MapLibre Native
• Native report submission flows
• Feature detail screens
• Offline-first caching and sync
• Push notifications and deep links
• Local storage and anonymous identity handling
• RTL-first UI (Persian/Farsi + English)
• Onboarding, permissions, themes, and app settings

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Senior Flutter Developer to join our development team! In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge mobile applications using Flutter, ensuring seamless user experiences across platforms.

We are rebuilding our iOS and Android apps from React Native (Expo) to Flutter.

Our application is a secure platform that delivers real-time safety alerts and anonymous incident reporting for civil society organizations operating under repression. The platform provides early warnings for imminent threats, features interactive maps visualizing danger zones, and is engineered to stay reliable under severe internet filtering and throttling.

The current app relies heavily on embedded WebViews for core flows like report submission and feature detail pages. We are replacing all of that with fully native Flutter screens.

Your role is to lead the rewrite end-to-end and help build a fast, reliable, offline-capable mobile app with excellent UX across Android and iOS. Compensation will take location in to consideration., * 4+ years building production Flutter apps

• Experience shipping apps to both App Store and Google Play
• Strong understanding of native mobile development on iOS and Android
• Experience with map-heavy applications and performance optimization
• Push notification and deep linking experience
• Strong knowledge of offline-first architecture
• Experience building RTL interfaces (Persian or Arabic preferred)
• Experience working with native libraries (AAR/XCFramework/lib*.so)
• Experience integrating with backend services and consuming REST APIs
• Experience with CI/CD

Preferred Qualifications

• React Native to Flutter migration experience
• Persian language familiarity
• Experience with alternative app distribution methods
