Job description
Job Summary: The Encapsulation Tech is responsible for all encapsulation duties, reporting to Production Manager. Must follow pre-written Batch Records (BRs), within the Encapsulation Department at Vitalpax., * Maintains control documents, logs and databases.
- Operates an encapsulating machine.
- Maintains all areas and equipment in a safe, clean and orderly manner.
- Communicates daily with Production Management on daily activities.
- Ensures cGMP, SOPs, safety guidelines, and good documentation practices are being followed, including associated documentation, inventory, staging, and record-keeping.
- Occasionally assists with powder batching as needed.

Responsible for completing paperwork in consultation with QA department and Production Manager, such as:
- Line clearance checks.
- Batch record reviews.

Review incidences and coordinate with QA/QC on effective plans.
- Follow instructions precisely as indicated on encapsulation records.
- Works with technicians to oversee the encapsulation of each required product.
- Extreme attention to detail required.
- Careful communication with managers and colleagues, frequently and consistently, including managers and other technicians.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Working knowledge of production machinery, such as encapsulation and sealer machines.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

Ability to write simple documentation notes.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to manage time of encapsulation technicians and production of capsules in a timely manner.
