Principal UX Designer

• Work in a highly ambiguous environment to define UX in a first to market product
• Set vision and execute on building intuitive interfaces and experiences for industrial technology applications
• Create user flows and interaction patterns that simplify complex operations for customers
• Develop and maintain scalable design systems
• Partner with User Researcher or lead user research initiatives with operators and field personnel
• Build and test prototypes for various use cases
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety teams
• Ensure consistency across multiple services and interfaces
• Document and communicate design decisions effectively

• Experience in usability testing
• Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar
• 13+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating complex system design
• Proven track record of shipping production-ready designs, * Experience in managing UX Design and rapid prototyping efforts
• Experience guiding, training and mentoring others
• Experience designing for industrial or technical environments
• Knowledge of human factors and ergonomics
• Background in safety-critical or mission-critical system design
• Experience designing for operations or manufacturing settings
• Strong understanding of data visualization and complex systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
