Job description

Join our multidisciplinary foundry support team, the crucial interface between cutting-edge chip foundries and our valued customers. From the inception of design to the final Tape-Out phase, you are there to answer any technical queries related to technologies, libraries, and verification decks.

In this role you are responsible for:

  • Interfacing between world-class chip foundries (chip manufacturing plants) and our customers. You will support universities, startups, SME’s and system houses from design start until the moment they are ready to tape out and guide them on the technical side of their designs.
  • Providing our worldwide customers with chip design guidelines, design rules, libraries and design kits and assisting with installing and using them before and during the chip design phase.
  • Answering questions about how to use the technology and libraries to create an ASIC. For this you have a team of experienced colleagues and a support team at the foundry to support you where needed.
  • Using the most advanced Electronic Design Automation software from leading vendors to investigate test cases and provide support.
  • Assisting the sales team in technical discussions with customers.

Requirements

  • You have at least a master’s in electronics and semiconductor, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • You have experience in analog and/or digital chip design. The more the better.
  • Knowledge of chip-fabrication techniques is a must.
  • Having experience with ASIC CAD tool support is a plus
  • You have experience with project-based work.
  • You are customer-oriented and enjoy taking initiative.
  • You are proactive in customer support.
  • You possess strong written and oral communication skills. A good knowledge of English is mandatory.
