Linux System Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing enterprise identity infrastructure, administering LDAP services, and ensuring the stability, security, and performance of mission-critical backend systems., * Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle Directory Server and OpenLDAP environments.

• Manage LDAP operations, including replication, schema management, backups, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
• Install, configure, patch, and maintain Red Hat Linux servers.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automation scripts using Bash, KSH, or Perl.
• Monitor infrastructure, investigate incidents, and proactively resolve technical issues.
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening activities.
• Contribute to infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams while following ITIL best practices for incident, change, and problem management.

• 4+ years of experience in Linux/UNIX system administration and enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Directory Server and OpenLDAP.
• Solid expertise in Red Hat Linux administration.
• Good scripting skills using Bash, KSH, or Perl for automation and system administration.
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic and Apache Tomcat.
• Familiarity with Apache Ignite and Apache Derby.
• Experience working with development and deployment tools such as Git, Bamboo, and Nexus.
• ITIL Foundation Certification.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional proficiency in English and French.
