Job description

As part of the Brake department, the testing engineer will be responsible to manage testing and development activities as regards to brake system and misuse testing., * Organize and manage test plan and the test samples (vehicle and test parts)

  • Understand and apply the test procedure
  • Configuration of instrumentation and acquisition system (data logger, sensors, driverless robots, etc.)
  • Supervision and management of brake/misuse tests
  • Participate or conduct the test on the proving ground if necessary
  • Data analysis and reporting to final client
  • Participation in project meetings with customers

Requirements

  • 1 to 5 years of experience in automotive industry
  • Good communication skills and confident in discussions at different hierarchical levels
  • Recognizable empathy, with team spirit, proactive attitude and high level of assertiveness
  • Committed, goal driven, with successful results and strong service orientation
  • Open to work in a very international company with multicultural team
  • Passionate about the automotive world
  • Robotics, electronics, instrumentation and radio-control knowledge is an asset
  • Previous experience in testing is an asset
  • Automotive technical knowledge: knowledge of main vehicle component functions and behaviors, * Automotive or mechanical engineer

Languages

  • English: Professional working proficiency (minimum B2)
  • Any other language is an asset
