Data Engineer

• An experienced Data Engineer within this company’s leading Data Science team will be able to design and build data driven products and to create a new data backbone for data science projects. This person will be on the forefront of the effort to bring this firm to the next level of data handling and data automatization capabilities and as such will be:
• Applying (technical) leadership skills, experience and vision on creating efficient data solutions
• Closely collaborating with data scientists, consultants, sector specialists and developers from
• across the different parts of the company
• Achieving personal and professional growth, * Designing and building reusable data models/solutions
• Building data pipelines (including ETL processes, designing and building databases and data
• warehouses)
• Operationalizing analytics models
• Setting up the necessary cloud infrastructure

Have ample experience with:

• SQL, Python and other modern data processing and database languages
• DevOps tooling (for example Docker and Kubernetes)
• Handling large datasets in SQL and cloud based distributed databases
• MS Azure (Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, etc)
• BI tooling

This could be you if you have:

• A BSc or MSc degree in a technical field: e.g. Data Science, Computer Science, Physics,
• Engineering
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Excellent verbal and written command of the Dutch and English language
• An analytical mindset, a passion for data and data technology and an ambition for further
• personal development, * In a commercially focused and / or professional services environment
• In a team setting with people with different skill sets
• With highly motivated people focused on delivering the highest quality to customers
