Job description

As a Data Engineer, you’ll be right in the middle of it all: designing and building the data flows that power our solution, from capturing data at the edge, processing and storing it in the cloud, to making it accessible to the end user. You’ll work closely with ML/CV engineers to ensure data flows are efficient, resilient, and traceable. With your team, you’ll build Minimum Viable Products that are used by our customers.

Requirements

As Data Engineer you’re someone who enjoys working hands-on in a dynamic, startup-like environment and feels comfortable navigating uncertainty. You take ownership and think beyond code, focusing on building end-to-end solutions that create real impact. At the same time, you value collaboration and enjoy exchanging ideas to challenge and refine your thinking. With a strong curiosity for the future, you like experimenting, learning quickly, and discovering what works and what doesn’t., * Work experience: You have at least three years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with strong Python skills for building data and ETL pipelines.

  • Experience with embedded systems or resource-constrained environments.
  • Cloud: You are familiar with cloud services (e.g. Blob Storage, Event Hubs, AKS, ACR).

Nice to have:

  • Containerization: You have experience with Docker and deploying containerized applications
  • Knowledge of video data and processing tools.
  • Familiarity with machine learning workflows and/or edge inference.

Good to know: You are available for 32-38 hours. Hybrid (remote) working is common within Nedap and together with your team you will arrange your own working hours for a good work-life balance. You are preferably present at our campus in Groenlo at least twice a week.

Benefits & conditions

As a Data Engineer at Nedap, you will make a valuable contribution to our goal: making people happier and more successful in their professional lives. The salary range for this role is between € 4.000 and € 5.500 gross per month based on full-time employment (38 hours) and depends on relevant knowledge and experience. In addition to your salary, you are entitled to a thirteenth month, a good pension scheme, and profit sharing with the opportunity to become a shareholder of Nedap. At Nedap, everything revolves around trust and autonomy. That’s why, along with your colleagues, you decide on your own working hours and vacation days to maintain a healthy work-life balance. We also highly value personal and professional growth. You will receive a comprehensive introduction, and we encourage you to continuously develop yourself.
