Requirements

Essential Experience (All of the following MUST be demonstrable on the CV, otherwise it will not be considered by the client for submission):

  • University degree (bachelor or Master) in computer science, information technology, mathematics or other job related field;
  • At least eight (8) years of progressively responsible professional experience in planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance of information technology in a multi-cultural organization or national organization providing support on a global scope;
  • Knowledge of systems design, and development, management, implementation and maintenance of complex information systems.
  • Ability to develop and oversee large centralized or decentralized institutional systems; conceptual and strategic analytical capacity to understand information system and business operational issues so as to thoroughly analyze and evaluate critical systems matters.
  • Knowledge of a range of computer languages and development paradigms, knowledge of organization’s information infrastructure and IT strategy as it relates to user area(s).
  • Familiarity with large-scale ICT architectures and automated deployment techniques in virtual environments
  • Significant experience in SIEM management and planning and deployment of monitoring infrastructure
  • Essential knowledge of networking protocols and understanding of networking architectures and security principles
  • Familiarity with software lifecycle management processes and tools, and ability to supervise small development teams
  • Develops clear goals that are consistent with agreed strategies; identifies priority activities and assignments; adjusts priorities as required; allocates appropriate amount of time and resources for completing work; foresees risks and allows for contingencies when planning; monitors and adjusts plans and actions as necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a diverse organization tailoring language, tone, style and format to match audience. .
  • Excellent knowledge of information technology systems and tools as they pertain to financial systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English essential.

Desirable Experience (This experience will be highly sought after for this project, therefore if the candidate does not possess this experience, then please add similar/ equivalent experience in its place):

  • Familiarity with the United Nations common system or international financial institution is desirable
