Job description

Our client is seeking a reliable and solution-focused IT Technician to join a well-equipped secondary school in Newcastle upon Tyne with an ASAP start. This is a hands-on role supporting staff and students with day-to-day technical needs.

The successful IT Technician will provide first-line support for hardware and software issues, maintain classroom technology, assist with network troubleshooting, and ensure systems are running efficiently. You will work closely with the IT Manager and senior leadership to support digital teaching and learning across the school.

This role would suit someone organised, calm under pressure, and confident resolving a range of technical issues in a fast-paced school setting.
