IT Administrator

• Collaborating in the definition, setup, and management of our IT environment (servers, cloud, PCs) and networks for product development, project execution, and administrative processes in the Metals area, both internally and for customers;
• Advising on software tools and services;
• Acting as a contact person and interface to the general Group IT center of PSI SE;
• Coordinating IT activities at all Metals locations worldwide in cooperation with local IT administrators.

• Completed studies or vocational training in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, or a related field;
• Over 2 years of professional experience in IT Administration or IT Infrastructure;
• Solution-oriented and creative thinking for supporting and enhancing our IT infrastructure;
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with colleagues, customers, and suppliers;
• Team player with a passion for collaboration and customer service;
• Proven proficiency in English and German, both spoken and written;
• High initiative, commitment, flexibility, and responsibility;
• Knowledge of VMware ESX, Office/Microsoft 365, Bitdefender, Atlassian (Confluence & Jira), and Fortinet is desirable.
• Desirable experience with VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls, and Routing, as well as expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems with a strong focus on security aspects, and experience in scripting using batch and shell.
