Job description

As my client’s business continues its rapid global growth, they are investing heavily their cloud platforms, AI capabilities and cyber resilience. My client is looking for an experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer to help secure and evolve their Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments while playing a key role in the next generation of enterprise technology.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking Technology & Cyber team that is transforming traditional IT into a modern technology function built around cloud, automation, AI and security.

You’ll lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of cyber security controls across Azure and Microsoft 365, helping protect critical business services, client data and cloud infrastructure. You’ll work closely with technology, engineering and business stakeholders to build secure, scalable and resilient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement security solutions across Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.

Develop and maintain security architecture standards, procedures and best practices.

Lead cloud security initiatives and security engineering projects.

Implement security automation and security-as-code controls.

Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub and Azure Policy.

Identify opportunities to improve cloud governance, compliance and risk management.

Manage and prioritise cyber engineering backlogs using Agile methodologies.

Produce and maintain technical documentation and security standards.

Collaborate with technology teams to ensure secure delivery of cloud-based solutions

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in cyber security At least 3 years specialising in cloud security Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 security technologies Experience implementing security-as-code, policy-as-code and automated security controls Knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub, Azure Policy and CI/CD security practices Strong understanding of security frameworks including:

NIST

CIS

ISO 27001

Experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, Logic Apps or similar automation tools Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable Certifications

Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate

Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert

CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
