Job description
We are looking for a motivated Technical Solutions Specialist with a solid background in Computer Science or related disciplines. In this role, you will be responsible for system deployment, field commissioning, troubleshooting Linux and network environments, and developing Python scripts for automation. You will work closely with both internal engineering teams and external clients to ensure successful project delivery., * System Deployment & Commissioning: Install, configure, and deploy software/hardware systems in Linux environments at customer sites or test labs.
- Automation & Scripting: Write basic Python scripts for operational automation, data processing, log analysis, and system testing.
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Analyze system logs, network packets, and communication errors to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in production.
- Customer Technical Liaison:
Act as the technical point of contact for clients, providing on-site or remote support, technical training, and issue resolution.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain deployment guides, troubleshooting manuals, SOPs, and technical hand-off reports.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Information, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Linux OS Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, comfortable with command-line tools, shell commands, and basic system configuration.
- Networking Protocols:
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP, etc.); familiar with packet analyzer tools like Wireshark or tcpdump.
- Python Scripting:
Basic Python programming experience with the ability to write scripts for automated testing, data parsing, or system maintenance tasks.
- Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, eager to learn new technologies, and a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
- Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points) * Electrical & Serial Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals and experience with serial communication protocols such as RS232, RS485, or Modbus.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel on short-term business trips for on-site customer deployment and support.
- Bilingual Proficiency:
Strong proficiency in both English and Chinese (written and spoken), capable of using English as a working language for technical documentation and client communication.
