Job description

  • Serve as the primary owner and administrator for Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence, including instance configuration, schemes, permissions, and user/group management.
  • Manage the full project and space lifecycle - provisioning, configuration standards, archiving, and decommissioning.
  • Establish and maintain platform documentation, configuration standards, and admin runbooks. Workflow Automation & Integrations

  • Design, build, and maintain Jira workflows, automation rules, and business logic that reflect how teams actually work, not just how they’ve always configured things.
  • Own integrations between Atlassian tools and adjacent systems (e.g., Salesforce, Confluence, CI/CD tooling, BI/reporting platforms), partnering with Corporate IT and BI teams as needed.
  • Evaluate and recommend marketplace apps and automation approaches, weighing maintainability and platform health against short-term convenience. Governance & Platform Health

  • Establish and enforce governance standards for schema design, workflow sprawl, permission models, and naming conventions across projects and spaces.
  • Monitor platform performance, technical debt, and configuration drift, and drive remediation plans.
  • Own the Atlassian upgrade, release, and change-management cadence, including risk assessment for major platform changes.
  • Monitor usage and own sun-setting of redundant / un-used JIRA projects within the tool and manage estate hygiene. Reporting & Visibility

  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and views that give Product, Engineering, Support, Services, and leadership visibility into throughput, SLAs, and operational health.
  • Partner with the BI team on data feeds from Jira/JSM into enterprise reporting (e.g., Power BI) to support cross-functional metrics and executive reporting. Vendor & Contract Management

  • Own the Atlassian licensing and contract relationship, including renewals, tier/edition decisions, true-ups, and cost optimization.
  • Manage relationships with Atlassian Solution Partners and marketplace app vendors, including SOW review and vendor performance. Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as the primary Atlassian platform partner to Product, Engineering, Support, Services, and IT - translating varied and sometimes competing requirements into a coherent platform approach.
  • Proactively bring forward recommendations to improve efficiency, adoption, and ROI of the Atlassian ecosystem rather than waiting for requests.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on Atlassian platform ownership and administration (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence) in a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining complex Jira workflows, automation rules, and third-party integrations.
  • Track record of establishing governance standards and improving platform health in a multi-team, multi-project Atlassian environment.
  • Experience building operational reporting and dashboards for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience managing SaaS vendor contracts, licensing, and renewals - Atlassian specifically preferred.
  • Strong consultative skills: able to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders, diagnose the underlying business problem, and recommend a solution rather than simply implementing the literal ask.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting recommendations to cross-functional and leadership audiences.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)., * Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) certification(s), such as ACP-Jira Administrator or ACP-Jira Service Management Administrator.
  • Experience in a B2B software or fintech/enterprise SaaS environment.
  • Experience supporting M&A-related platform integration or consolidation work.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar BI tools as a consumer/data-source partner.

About the company

Solifi deliver a solid financial technology foundation for equipment, working capital, wholesale, and automotive finance firms. At Solifi, we believe that commerce is only as strong as the system it runs on. Our mission is to reshape finance technology by bringing together proven solutions into a singular powerful technology platform designed to help protect and scale financial organizations. We guard our customers by being precise and reliable, we guide their success by combining powerful technology with proven expertise, and we help them grow by unleashing their potential.

About the Team Enterprise Operations is the engine that helps Solifi scale. We bring together technology, systems, data, and operational excellence to create the foundation that enables every part of the business to succeed. Working across functional boundaries, we partner with teams throughout Solifi to simplify complexity, improve decision-making, accelerate business outcomes, and support strategic growth initiatives. Whether modernizing enterprise platforms, advancing data and AI capabilities, strengthening corporate technology, or integrating newly acquired businesses, we focus on building sustainable, scalable solutions that increase efficiency and create long-term value. We are a team of problem solvers, builders, and operators who are passionate about turning strategy into execution and helping Solifi achieve its next stage of growth.

About the Position This role sits within Enterprise Operations and is central to how Product, Engineering, Support, Services, and IT plan, build, and deliver work across the company. This is not an order-taking, ticket-queue role. We’re looking for someone who can sit down with a stakeholder group, understand what they’re actually trying to accomplish, and recommend the right way to configure, automate, or govern the platform to get them there - even when that means pushing back on the first request that comes in the door. You’ll be expected to proactively identify friction, technical debt, and efficiency opportunities across the Atlassian ecosystem rather than waiting to be told where to look.
