Bi-Lingual Medical Assistant (MA) position

As a Bilingual Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in our clinic by providing both clinical and administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of our practice., * Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints

• Assist providers during patient exams and procedures
• Administer injections/vaccines and perform point-of-care testing as directed
• Manage referrals and prior authorizations in coordination with front desk staff
• Document accurately and efficiently in the EHR (eClinicalWorks)
• Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supply inventory
• Communicate with patients via phone and patient portal (Healow/Messenger)
• Support scheduling and patient flow to keep the clinic running efficiently
• Follow all HIPAA, safety, and infection control protocols

• Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Certification: Active Office lab assistant certificate preferred. Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy skills- required.
• Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting and Familiarity with EHR systems (eClinicalWorks a plus) preferred.
• Empathy: Compassionate and patient-focused approach, with a dedication to providing high-quality healthcare.
• General knowledge of the medical clinic operations in a physician office setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills
