There is plenty of room to grow and specialize in what you like to do., * Installs, modifies, and makes minor repairs to computer hardware and software systems.
- Resolves tickets representing customer-generated technical requests or problems and troubleshoots technical and process issues to maintain productivity.
- Troubleshoot issues with client’s software or devices and interface with vendors tech support if needed.
- Helps design and implement networks.
- Consults with users to determine appropriate hardware and software needs and assists in processing orders.
- Maximizes computer systems capabilities by studying technical applications and making recommendations.
- Creates, maintains, and monitors the Cybersecurity stance of our clients
- Tests compatibility of new programs with existing ones.
- Gathers data to identify and evaluate technical purchasing options.
- Installs software and necessary applications for workflow.
- Carries out software, network, and database performance tuning, installations and troubleshooting.
- Documents hardware and software updates.
- Keeps up to date on technical advancements by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
Requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- The ability to communicate technical information in an accessible manner to non-technical employees.
- A process improvement mindset.
- Software maintenance and testing capability.
- Vendor relations.
- Knowledge of networking principles and operating systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Knowledge or Email functionality and setup
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Customer-service focus.
- Collaborative mindset.
- Hands-on problem-solving ability.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or above in computer science, information systems, or related field or equivalent on the job experience
- Prior experience working on a Helpdesk, NOC, IT, or similar technical function
- Microsoft or Compliant certifications are a plus
- Military Experience is a plus, * Computer networking: 2 years (Required)
- IT: 2 years (Required)
- Technical support: 2 years (Required)
