Product Owner

This role is responsible for product strategy, feature prioritization, Agile delivery, and cross-functional collaboration within a large-scale digital transformation program. The ideal candidate will have strong Agile leadership experience, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering customer-focused digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the product backlog for Agile development teams.
• Define product vision and roadmap in partnership with business and technology stakeholders.
• Develop high-level epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria based on business requirements and customer needs.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Track team velocity, sprint progress, and release milestones while communicating status to stakeholders.
• Manage one or more Agile delivery teams from both product and project leadership perspectives.
• Monitor project scope, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies using Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Develop and maintain project plans, resource schedules, and budget documentation.
• Ensure accurate task tracking and reporting using Agile tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Conduct business analysis, research, and benchmarking to support digital channel improvements.
• Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
• Develop test plans, execute testing, document findings, and collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues.
• Support governance, intake processes, and continuous program improvement initiatives.
• Promote a customer-centric culture focused on delivering exceptional digital experiences.
• Prepare status reports, facilitate meetings, assign tasks, and monitor project performance.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proven experience serving as a Product Owner for Agile software development teams.
• Experience with Agile project management and/or customer experience initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
• Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar Agile project management tools.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous leadership or management experience supervising employees or contractors.
• Experience with SAFe Agile program management or Agile transformation.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and compliance.
• Familiarity with customer operations environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Vendor management experience.
• Experience with customer operations systems.
• Knowledge of customer operations business processes, policies, and regulations.
• Experience preparing executive-level presentations and formal documentation.
• Knowledge of customer assistance programs is a plus.
