Entry Level Network Cabling Technician

Are you interested in learning valuable skills without having the college debt? A great way to do that is getting into the trades. Rather than sitting in a classroom, you’ll get paid to learn how to install structured cabling at construction sites and businesses that will allow computers, Access Points (Wi-Fi), Telephones, etc. to work properly within a commercial building. The more that you learn, the more you earn.

We specialize in the installation of voice, data, video and fiber optic cabling in commercial environments. We have positions available for LEVEL 1 Installers that will work with cat5e, cat6, CCTV, CATV and fiber optic cabling. This is a position that requires the use of hand tools, climbing ladders, reading blue prints and following labeling schemes.

Candidates must possess the desire to learn and work in a team environment. We offer on-the-job-training and pay is excellent for these starting positions. Starting pay is between $18-$20 per hour. The right candidates could grow with the company and become lead technicians or foremen. Attention to detail is a must.

Candidates must have a clean, valid drivers license and must have reliable transportation as well as be flexible as work schedules and environments change often in the construction industry. Must be able to work safely and follow OSHA and company safety policies. Additional paid classroom training will be required as needed for particular assignments.
