Job description

Join our Analytics team to drive deeper understanding of customer behavior and product performance across our events intelligence platform. As Head of Analytics, you’ll own the analytics strategy that informs product decisions, drives growth, and customer outcomes. You’ll lead a team of analysts and report to the Head of Data & AI. This is a small but mighty team with outsized impact - we are a data company and have an strong data-driven culture, which means this role owns both internal analytics and analytics that are embedded in our product. We are looking for a star player who can operate on multiple levels - from defining a metric in a leadership meeting to defending how it’s calculated in the semantic layer.

You’ll partner with Product, GTM/Customer Success and Engineering to define success metrics, uncover insight, and embed data-driven decision-making across the product and organization. You will lead and build the measurement and insight layer that shapes what we ship, how we grow, and the outcomes our customers get from the platform, turning event intelligence into decisions our customers and Vendelux can act on.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and lead Vendelux’s analytics strategy end to end: measurement frameworks, metric definitions, reporting standards, and our agentic analytics platform.
  • Mentor and grow a high-performing analytics team responsible for delivering insights that shape product strategy and roadmap decisions.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders and executives to define and monitor core company metrics and prioritize initiatives based on measurable customer and business impact.
  • Own the forecast and insights into drivers of company and product performance.
  • Lead and conduct deep-dive analyses of how customers use event intelligence - eg data coverage, campaign conversion, ROI measurement - to surface product and growth opportunities and inform the roadmap.
  • Partner with Engineering teams to build and continuously improve the semantic layer underlying the agentic analytics platform, tighten metric governance, and expand governed self-serve analytics.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years in product analytics, data science, or quantitative analytics, ideally in B2B SaaS.
  • 3-5+ years leading and building analytics teams and partnering with senior leaders to inform strategy.
  • Master’s degree in Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar quantitative field preferred but not required.
  • Advanced SQL and strong Python skills (or comparable analytical programming).
  • Deep experience with product metrics and growth analytics in a B2B context.
  • Hands-on with modern data platforms like Snowflake and dbt, as well as BI tools such as Sigma, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration, especially with non-technical senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

About the company

Events are one of the largest and most impactful marketing channels, yet historically one of the least measurable. Vendelux brings transparency and performance to this space - helping companies discover, evaluate, and optimize their event strategy with data.

Our platform powers thousands of event decisions by delivering proprietary, AI-driven insights across hundreds of thousands of events globally. At the core of our platform is a robust ecosystem of event organizer partnerships - where organizers share first-party data, enabling richer insights for customers while receiving benchmarking and audience intelligence in return. From identifying the highest ROI conferences to enabling targeted meeting programs, Vendelux helps companies turn events into a predictable and scalable growth engine.

In addition, Vendelux Meetings extends our platform by turning insights into pipeline - using AI to identify high-value attendees and proactively book 1:1 meetings between our customers and their ideal prospects at events. This enables go-to-market teams to drive measurable ROI and maximize every event interaction.

Founded in 2021, Vendelux is a Series B SaaS company backed by top-tier investors including FirstMark. We partner with many of the fastest-growing companies in the world, and our team includes leaders from Bain, ZoomInfo, Shutterstock, FanDuel, Compass, Airbnb, Forter and beyond.
