Job description

The ITW/AA Lead will serve as a technical and operational leader responsible for coordinating complex systems engineering activities across the enterprise. The position requires close collaboration with Government organizations, federally funded research and development centers, and industry partners to maintain interface integrity, support testing and sustainment, and advance mission objectives., Lead end-to-end ITW/AA systems analysis, assessment, engineering, and integration activities.

  • Identify system and program changes that may affect ITW/AA mission integrity.
  • Develop, lead, execute, control, and maintain systems engineering and engineering management processes.
  • Manage, control, and analyze ITW/AA interface requirements and related mission impacts.
  • Lead integration activities across multiple program offices, agencies, and mission stakeholders.
  • Develop test strategies, plans, reports, briefings, and supporting technical documentation.
  • Participate in test execution, verification, analysis, and sustainment activities.
  • Maintain disciplined configuration management and change control processes.
  • Assess missile warning operations and support resolution of technical and operational issues.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with Government customers, federally funded research and development centers, and partner organizations.
  • Communicate technical findings, risks, recommendations, and mission impacts to technical and leadership audiences.
  • Perform effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Technology, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience serving as a technical and operational ITW/AA lead supporting the U.S. Government.
  • Three or more years of experience with ITW/AA or the space and missile domain.
  • Knowledge of and experience with NORAD Instruction 10-3.
  • Experience managing, controlling, and analyzing ITW/AA interface requirements and missile warning operations.
  • Five or more years of experience working in a collaborative team environment to develop test strategies, plans, reports, and briefings and to support test execution, verification, analysis, and sustainment activities.
  • Knowledge of ITW/AA change control management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish collaborative relationships with Government customers, federally funded research and development centers, and partner organizations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team., * Experience supporting ITW/AA organizations or mission areas such as a joint operations center, system program office, Cheyenne Mountain systems sustainment, missile warning center, functional management office, systems certification organization, systems center, testing organization, or test control organization.
  • Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and test activities for space-based remote sensing systems.
  • Experience planning, executing, and reporting activities for a Lead Developmental Test Organization or Operational Test Authority.
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and DoD 5000.02.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Technology, or a related field.

Clearance & Additional Requirements

  • Secret security clearance is required.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance is required.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Ability to work at a Government customer site at least three days per week split between Buckley (Aurora) and Peterson (CO Springs)

Benefits & conditions

The typical annual salary range for this position is approximately, USD $125,000 - $150,000. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, profit sharing / retirement plan and other benefits (all in addition to annual base salary).
