Data Center Technician

The will support day-to-day data center operations through hardware installations, cabling, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation activities. • Assist senior technicians with racking, stacking, and cabling servers, storage systems, and network appliances.
• Perform basic hardware and connectivity troubleshooting, documenting findings and escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Support equipment refreshes, upgrades, decommissioning efforts, and hardware lifecycle management activities.
• Label, organize, trace, and maintain cabling according to established data center standards and best practices.
• Follow SOPs, runbooks, and change management processes while supporting incident response and operational readiness.

• 1-2 years of experience in IT support, hardware support, desktop support, or data center operations environments.
• Basic hands-on experience with computer hardware installation, rack and stack activities, cabling, hardware replacement, and basic networking concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed technical procedures.
• High School Diploma required.
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance required.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required.
